Overview

Dr. Ir. Maskur, M.Si. is a lecturer and researcher at animal genetic and breeding laboratory, Animal Science Faculty, the University of Mataram. His research focuses on understanding the potential utility of DNA markers in animal breeding and conservation, including progeny test, genetic defects test, single gene traits test, marker-assisted selection for multigenic or quantitative traits. He obtained a Bachelor in Animal Sciences from Mataram University (1992); Master of Science in Biotechnology, (2000) and Doctoral in Animal Genetic from the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) (2012).
